    Minidump...

Ok so i reformatted my windows to home edition and everything works very well. Today i was playing CSS and my computer auto booted, i check error logs and i got this:

    Error code 000000d1, parameter1 00000028, parameter2 00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 f73939cd.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.

and it created a .dmp file. Im not sure how to check if its my vid card overheating, my cpu, or my power supply not giviing enough juice. Any information you need, just ask. Thank you!

    0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
(Click to consult the online Win XP Resource Kit article.)
The system attempted to access pageable memory using a kernel process IRQL that was too high. The most typical cause is a bad device driver (one that uses improper addresses). It can also be caused by caused by faulty or mismatched RAM, or a damaged pagefile.

    http://aumha.org/win5/kbestop.htm

If you want to try and analyze the XP errors:

Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
Note the location of your .dmp files.

    Then:

    1) Download and install the
    Debugging Tools from Microsoft
    2) Download and install this
    debugwiz
    3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your .dmp file.
    4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.

That being said your exact parameters are very similar to a RAM problem.

Have you used this same RAM previously without issue? Any new RAM?

I downloaded the debugwiz but i cant seem to find the txt document it makes. I cant recall any reboots that had to do with my ram, the only thing similar was my freezing when i had xp pro. Sorry i didnt upload it somewhere, short on time!

    Opened log file 'c:\debuglog.txt'

That particular dump was triggered by audio drivers.

Do you continue to crash? Are the errors the same?

Did you reload your motherboard drivers after reinstalling XP?

Your computer manufacturer will have the drivers on their web site.

If you computer was custom built then check the motherboard manufacturer's web site.

I installed everything on my MOBO cd. I will re-download and re-install the drivers for my audio device, thanks for the heads up! Was hoping it was not a ram issue!
