Attempt to Access Invalid Address....
Well thats what I get now-a-days, whenever I try to install older DOS based programs.
eg: Mavis Beacon Teaches Typing, American Greetings CreataCard, The Print Shop Deluxe III, even Adobe Type Manager Deluxe.
At 1st I thought it had something to do with my computer and CD/DVD-ROM reading thingie.
but even when I take the apps off the CD, and place their folders on my desktop, I still get....The dreaded....
"Attempt to Access Invalid Address"
I already tried Compatibility Wizard a few times.
It all started when I went from FAT32, to NTFS, then used Partition Magic (as per suggestions) to get my file system back to FAT32. Now it says that it's a FAT32 file system, but I can't install the older apps I think I used to be able to install on this computer with WinXP Pro on it when I 1st got it.
All the info I could find out about this problem had to do with Win ME or Win 2000 servers. Not one article/note about it ever happening on WinXP Pro, except on this one thread in another computer helping website:

PLEASE HELP.
Thanks

As I see other posts by you I assume that you have browsed most of this:

I suggest as a first try go back to your HijackThis thread and post a log.
