Hi,

I am running XP but everynow and again C drive properties shows the drive to be over 90% full. When I reboot the drive goes down to less than 25 % full. Not sure whats going on but gmail seems to have something to do with it. Anybody got any ideas ???

What makes you suspect G-mail?

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware and or software?

If this is a new problem try a System Restore to a point prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

This is not a new problem and has been going on a while. It seems to happen when gmail notifier is active in the tray but may mean nothing.

Yes done that. I defrag and disk cleanup once a week, run AVG free edition, free Zonealarm and paid for Stopzilla.

Check your Page File Size:

Right click My Computer then click Properties

Advanced > Performance > Settings > Advanced > Virtual memory > Change

Is this set to System Manage Size?
