my computer crashed on me so i ran a system restore but now it has more problem. anytime i download something all i get is an error message saying corrupted files. anytime i try to search for something it tells me page cannot be displayed. i have a hard time trying to do anything now please help

Could you please describe the error message in more detail?

Have you installed all applications needed for the downloads to run (i.e wmp for audio/video, acrobat reader for .pdf documents etc)?

do you have a windows xp or recovery disk?
