    Where are popup controls XP

    Hi,

I did do a search on help in XP professional and also on the forums but could not find an answer to my problem.

Quite frequently when clicking on a page or search to view I get popup blocked in lower bar and the page I want is blocked and I cannot view.

Where is the program file for the popup controls so that I can minimize the blocking of popups and so gain access to more web pages.

    I think that covers it.

    Thanks,
    Ray

if you are using internet explorer, click Ctrl on your keyboard when clicking on a link that opens a pop-up

or you can add websites to the allow list click tools (in IE)> pop-up blocker> popup blocker settings and type in the website then click a'dd'

alternatively, click tools (in IE)> pop-up blocker> turn off pop-up blocker (not reccomended)

    Thanks Madmike,

The first option works great and I'll use that from now on.

By the way I'm an ardent Liverpool supporter. It was funny last year I was in the States at the time of the Euro final and I just could not find any media to listen to or watch the match and so I was phoning the UK frequently to get the up-to-date results of the match. Even though Liverpool were 3 zip down at half time I knew they would win. They did a similar thing yet again in the FA Cup on Sunday.

    Thanks for your help.

    Best,
    Ray
