are you sure it was d000014? i cant seem to find anything on google for it.

not lookin good at the moment:
    Hard error:
An error or issue that occurs because of a physical hardware issue with the computer. Generally, these types of errors require that the hardware be replaced.
try disconnecting all usb devices, your slave hard drive, all CD/DVD drives, anything from the parrallel port (i.e a printer) and re-start your computer....

up to now, it sounds like it is NOT a PSU, motherboard or Hard drive error.... i may be wrong though.

    you normaly get
'primary drive 0 not found' or
'secondary drive 0 not found' for a HD error

Sorry i cannot help you any further at the moment.
    Mike

try and boot using your xp cd (if you have one) and enter the recovery console by pressing 'R' when asked to do so.
    Then type in
    /fixboot (press enter)
    /fixmbr (press enter)
    /exit (press enter)

then, take your cd out ant re-boot.
    Hope this helps, Mike

That error is often associated with a virus.

As a first response you might want to post a HijackThis log for review by our Pros in that section:

Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
    (Not in this section please).

Please specify what issues you appear to be experiencing along with your log.

Otherwise a Repair Install of XP is often recommended:

If this does not solve your problem you probably have a failing hard drive.

You can find diagnostics depending on your manufacturer:

Do you know the manufacturer of your hard drive?

You will find the major brand diagnostics listed here:
