Hi there, can anyone help. I think my son may have downloaded something accidentially. now I keep getting a pop up on my tool bar saying 'system alert - spyware detected' it says click on icon to deleted spyware - it then takes me to a website (Pest Trap) to buy the software. I am also getting unwanted porn related pop-ups. I have looked at all the programs in my add/remove section but can't see anything obvious.

Any help would be appreciated.

I suggest you post a hijackthis log on the spyware board. not here and state the problems you are having.
