    wireless network problems

i bought a computer with built in wireless network a year and a half ago, i just resently reinstalled my computer and i have no internet connection, i have tried adding hardware but it just does not recognise my card. When i bought the computer, no installation disks were provided, are there any alternatives??? i cannot afford another adaptor.

Are you saying that the device is not detected after reinstalling XP?

    And that it is onboard?

The driver would most likely be included in your chipset drivers.

We need to ID the motherboard and or chipset.
