hi i just reformatted my laptop hard drive to xp pro sp2 but when i try to install office it comes up with a message saying 'the operating system is not presenrly configured to run this applicatio ' any ideas

What version of Office? Are you using the original CD's to install?

How did you install XP? A retail disk or an OEM recovery?
