Firefox loaded that page perfectly. So the fault must be with IE somewhere. hmmmmm. any ideas?

Try in IE:

Tools > Internet Options:

Advanced: Restore Defaults

Security: Default

Privacy: Medium

Advanced: Java (Sun) > Use JRE 1.5.0-6 for <applet> (requires restart)

Yep, get that windows using firefox only. don't get that far with IE. all the internet settings are as you described. I just reset to defaults before as well....

Do you have all Windows Updates?

Do you have that set to automatic?

Do you know if you took the Widows Updates from last Tuesday? (April 11/06)

got the latest updatest. tried doing them before and theres none available.

Do you have any other problems with this computer? You said it was brand new?

What is the exact make and model?

Look at System Restore and see what your earliest date is:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

And just to verify: You can access and play this game via Firefox?
