Re: Problem loading java applet for Yahoo Games

Update: can get the games to load properly for the yahoo official page with everything else turned on even.

Probably a problem with the other page I was using before and not the computer the whole time?

Sorry misspelled that page before it's: http://www.alleykatzden.com/yahoo/canasta.html Can you get it to work if you go into Amateur's Arena?

    Cool

Let us know if we can help further.

I had to shut down the Yahoo site from the Task Manager as clicking the X didn't work

Oh well ... glad you got it going

I could not even access that link that you posted (by the way).

mmm, just tried that same page that doesn't work for me on another computer and it worked fine.... damn,. however when first loading it asked me to install some content, i don't remember doing that on the other computer.

Is there a way I can get that message to come up again to reload that component?

I never got it but I clicked the button and got a page listing who was online

Are you still referring to this link:

    http://www.alleykatzden.com/yahoo/canasta.html

From Tools on the top of the screen you can view: Manage Add-ons...

This is where these tools are listed ...

    Did you install the content?

Do you recognise it from that list?

Both these pages are now locking up my computer which I say with all humility runs flawlessly.

If it is any consolation this appears to be a site problem rather than your computer.

    Very strange

the comp I tried it on was a win2k. and it doesn't add-ons listed. I tried it on another xp comp and same thing is happening.

yes I'm referring to the same page btw.

i just noticed on that page it has a resolution max of 600x800 could it be an older website or for older comps? I'm really lost now....

That is a very low resolution indeed.
