I am fairly new with win xp - please help - can anybody tell me how to backyp me "favorites" folder and restore it after i have reformatted and re installed windows xp -- home ... many thanks

In IE click File then Import and Export... Export Favorites.

Send them to My Documents (for example). From here you can burn to CD or Floppy.

After reinstall just put this back into My Documents and then in IE run the wizard again this time choosing Import Favorites.
