i installed a free program Eraser 5.3 to rid the pc of some dodgy files. But the programme was stopped before it completed, and now there is only 7gig of hard drive space left (there was 25gig previously). I have looked things up and been advised to delete a file ERAFSWD.TMP but it doesn't seem to be there. It doesn't appear on explorer even with show hidden files. In fact i cannot see what is using up all the space. HELP! Very grateful for any advice.

Try a System Restore to a point prior to that install.

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

I have sorted it, I found the files it was supposed to have deleted, and ran the erase thing again, hey presto back to 25gig!
