    Hi and welcome to D-A-L

Stop 0x000000C2 or BAD_POOL_CALLER---This occurs when a kernel-mode process or driver attempts to perform an illegal memory allocation and is generally do to a driver or software bug

    I found this

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314492/EN-US/

when did the computer stop working ?

did you try a repair installion of XP or just a reinstall?

if you tried to reinstall did you reformat the partition first

Bad_pool_caller happened to me. I adopted a used laptop. I tried to upgrade it... When I put in a brand new 1gb ram in place of the 256mb, bad_pool_caller randomly popped up. when it was in it's happy mood, i ran memtest. sure enough, it was the RAM. I don't know your situation, I hope it's as easy as replacing the ram. if u have two sticks of ram, take one out to see if that's the bad caller.
