I Am A Complete Novice On A Computer. I Have Somehow Lost The Left Hand Descriptions On My Pictures Which Enable Me To Copy On To A Disc...they Have Just Dissappeared...i Am Desperately Trying To Copy To Disc And Dont Know How Without These.

If this just happened try a System Restore to a date prior to the problem:

start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Is this only a problem with My Pictures? Does My Documents (for example) have the left menu?
