    So many problems!.. please help

I've only had my laptop for a year and the last few months I have had a lot of problems so if anyone can solve any of them i will really appreciate it!

Firstly, MSN and certain websites, e.g. Ebay and Amazon, as well as hotmail, just stopped working on my computer. It works fine for other websites, but always comes up with 'This page cannot be displayed' for the websites i just mentioned- how can i get them to work again?!

Also my computer suddenly just stopped playing any sound over a month ago, which also means i cannot use play any music!

And the most annoying thing is i got a new ipod for my birthday over a month ago and i can't use it because it wont let me install the new version of itunes. It says i need to uninstall the version of itunes that i already have, but when i try to do this it comes up with " Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed."

Please please help me if you can!!!

not sure about the website/msn issues but ive had similar..

about the sound, check its not on mute:
Start> Control panel>sounds and audio devices... go to the audio tab and click Volume in the playback section and check nothing it muted

    also, re-install sound/audio drivers
    Hope this helps

Thanks for replying! When i checked the audio tab it said 'No Audio Device'. How do i reinstall sound/audio drivers? The computer plays absolutely no sounds at all, even when windows is starting up!

sounds like you do need 2 reinstall audio drivers, to do this, you can either install them off a disk you got with your computer (not all computers come with driver disks) could be called something like drivers and utilities
OR, tell me your computer make and model and i will find the audio drivers... if you have replaced/added a new soundcard you should have got a disk with that, if not, what is the make and model of that?
