Major reboot problem
Last week i turned on my pc and it kept rebooting every 5 mins or so.
So i formatted the main drive and it was fine for hours until i went to bed and it rebooted during the night.
After the reboot i found it was locked up so i reformatted again as i installed zone alarm and thought that was the problem.
But no after reformat it ran for hours again then rebooted again when i left it.
So i cleaned the inside of my tower and swapped my hard discs over then another format.
This again was no good after nearly a full day running it rebooted when left to run overnight.
Today i repasted the CPU and took out 512 of ddr DANE ELEC ram and ran it but still it rebooted.
So i removed that stick and tried the other and still it reboots.
Now it reboots continually every 5 to 10 minutes and its really annnoying am having to write this post on my sons pc because i can't do it on mine before it reboots.
I have also tried a few things i found from this forum but still no go.
Anyone have any ideas because i am stumped the only thing i haven't tried is PSU.
I haven't installed anything since before the problems I.E hardware/software i did however put a netgear 834 router on comp 2 weeks before the problem started but ran sweet till then

In order to try and force an error message change this setting:
rt. click My Computer then click Properties then Advanced then Startup and Recovery Settings then unclick Automatically restart
Such behavior could quite possibly be a PSU problem.

have already tried this haven't had any error messages yet tho .

That generally indicates a hardware failure rather than a Windows failure.
Do you have another PSU to try?

Nope can't get one till end of week but am gonna try it will keep you posted although i have stripped out a lot of hardware and reboots arn't as quick now.
