hey im having some problems with icons. i have bin fiddeling around with themes and that kind of thing. i downloaded some icons n thought it would be simple enough to change them myself.little did i find out that i didnt know how to change the system icons back to there defults (my computer, my documents, network settings etc) all there icons now appear as rectangles with a smaller rectangle inside of it and looks like a program, like then theres an unknown file type.if anyone knows of how you can get those icons back to there defult it would be much appreciated thanks

For the repair of the executable program icons (whatever.exe), run TweakUI
and use the "Rebuild Icons" tool on the "Repair" tab.

hey thanks for the site.i downloaded the program and installed it and went to what you said and recyclying bin, my computer network places are still as they were before? any thing else that could help fix my problem?

Have you tried start > Control Panel > Display > Desktop > General > Change Icon or Restore Defaults?
