    Serious Virus/Malware/Spyware problem Help

Ok I just downloaded what was supposed to be a Resume Builder from some website, I don't remember which one I scanned it with AVG, no virus was detected, then I guess there was another installation program inside it, because when I opened it, which by the way I was a little weary to open it because it had a icon of a box opened.

I opened it and all of sudden I was flooded with instant virus/trojans AVG detected I healead each one successfully but more kept popping up and then I scanned my pc with Spybot, it would find a couple instances (along with the regular which I'll save for another day, but I had questions concerning that) and then ran ZA spyware search it found one, then I ran Adaware it found 1 I ran AVG and ZA popped up and said something about avgw.bat trying to change something and then I scanned windows directory and found a couple of entries I didn't recognize example country.exe - googled it apparantely it's some type of virus/trojan, and there was also a toolbar.exe I found both were in the directory and also in the preftech directory I manually remove both instances and now my internet works again, but I forgot to mention that when these were in the said directories my internet wouldn't work it kept searching for an ip and then it would say something like is limited or not connected and there was a triangle with an exclamation point in between the computers, and also security center from SP2 popped up and said you've been infected and it would pop up a lot, so I did the search and remove with the tools like I said and the alert disappeared but is it really gone how do I check?

avg won't scan is it possible it has become infected.
    this is what comes up:

I would suggest running a HijackThis log by the Pros over there:

Please follow the instructions HERE & then post your log in a new thread in the Spyware, Adware, Viruses and HijackThis Logs section.
    (Not in this section please).

also I wanted to let you know that I still have country.exe and toolbar.exe in my recycle bin, I'm not sure if I should delete them?

Personal info? No. Just your software; known and unknown.

Follow what those Pros there say. They should respond within the day.

After they clear you up let us know if we can help further here.

ok, but do you have any ideas what I should do with the country.exe and toolbar.exe and the preftech files they can't do any damage while in the recycle bin right?

alright, well I went ahead an got the AVG from your post I had 7.1.381 I believe and the one you had listed was 7.1.385 so I downloaded it and installed it and it brought up the same alert but I just can't remember it popping up before when I did a system scan.

just being cautions appreciate all your help.

I allow AVG all access via my firewall as I trust it as my anti-virus.

7.1.385 is the latest. Just make sure you update it every day. Right click the icon and choose Check for Updates.

well it says something like AVG Basic Interface is trying to prevent AVG7_Run from running each time your computer starts or something like that. why would it be preventing itself from running?
