Well first of all sorry if im posting this in the wrong place
Basically my speakers won't work....everytime i click on add new hardware it says the device is installed but cannot start. I have tried everything to fix it but now im at a dead end..and the speakers work perfectly fine on any other computer!! Thanks xx

do any other speakers/headphones work on that computer? if not try re-installing the driver for the sound card (may be called "audio driver(s)") if you didnt get a disk with anything like that on (with dell, you get several disks, some of them labeled "drivers and utilities" and it is on one of those) please give us the full make + model of the pc.
