    FAT32 & NTFS...

    Hi!

Just wondering howcome my Acer Travelmate laptop`s Windows XP comes with FAT32 file system instead of the usual NTFS.
Any reason I should change it?

    Tks in advance

Xp works in FAT32 as well as NTFS it's all done when XP was installed

    have a look here http://www.theeldergeek.com/ntfs_or_...ile_system.htm
as long as it's running ok stick with what you've got

I would definately convert to NTFS, mostly because of security bonuses (so much easier to fight viruses and spyware with the NTFS file system)
