Unhappy HELP.....IE7 Installed, cant start comp

ok when i start up my comp it goes throught the main things until i get to my default login place. I have 2 accounts set up, just incase mine goes wrong, and when i click on either of the profiles, when explore.exe tries to load, it says that Normaliz.dll is missing. Since i cant log in just to replace the file through the internet, i have no idea what to do. Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Sincerely

    Me.

First off can you boot into Safe Mode?

If this just happened perhaps try Last Known Good Configuration or System Restore.

If you can't get into Safe Mode do you have a full version XP CD?

no i cant, because i cant login, and i built my computer using cyberpowerpc.com so they gave me a recovery disc which has xp on it but i have to access it through explorer

Did you try Last Known Good Configuration? Nothing to login to.

So this Recovery Disk is not a boot disk?

I was wondering if the Recovery Disk was a bootable disk?

Do you have instructions (a manual) on how to options for the Recovery Disk?

If it is not a boot disk you could try the Microsoft Floppies:

How to obtain Windows XP Setup boot disks

From there you might be able to load your Recovery disk and or use the Recovery Console:
