    Problems installing DVD Drive

Hi people, hopefully you can help me !

I have just purchased a Pioneer DVR-110D dvd writer. I have tried to put it into my computer which already has a standard DVD drive.

If I have them both plugged in and switch PC on I get a message on boot up saying

"Checking for Boot Record from CD/DVD-0 - Not Found"

The PC then boots up fine, but neither drive will work.

If I just plug in one drive at a time then this message is not displayed and either drive works perfectly well.

This may well be a common problem, I thought maybe they weren'y compliant or something but I am just a beginner to this and really have no idea.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks
    Tim.

You should have the new Pioneer DVR-110D set as Secondary Master and the standard DVD drive set as Secondary slave.

You need to change the jumpers to both Cable Select or Pioneer DVR-110D to Master and the standard DVD to slave.

These specific settings should be shown on the rear top of the drives.

Right that sounds promising, the question is how do I go about doing that.
Sorry if I sound a bit stupid but like I say this is my first time messing around with it !

I'm assuming it is somewhere in the bios or similar ?
