Everytime I run the BT Broadband installation cd it comes up with an error when trying to install the modem, the message reads.

Hi I.ve tried a whole new BT package still the same error (can't get registry value)
both packs work on my laptop.This BT voyager 105 has been working fine on my desktop for over a year it just suddenly failed on start up.I think I may have been infected by Downloader.Trojan. which I think we've erased, it's just this 1 error that I am aware of and it's stopping me connecting to the internet. HELP PLEASE

http://www.neo.easynet.co.uk/help/action.htmYou may see the error message can't get registry value, key is equal to software/globespanvirata/adsl and value is equal to driver type which I have found to be caused by anti-virus software (attempting to protect user form malicious file changes) thus preventing the removal or the install/reinstallation of the Voyager. Best to disable the anti-virus, run the Dr105 utility and then re-install software.
