    0x00000050 http.sys and 0x100000d1

    Hi guys!
    i'm new at this forum.
I've been reading some posts here and there and i noticed some of you are really smart with understanding the pc problems and solve them.. that's why here's my question:

i sometimes gets a blue screen showing an error like this:
    STOP: HTTP.SYS

0x00000050 and other numbers which i do not remember sorry.

Anyway i've taken i look at the event viewer under "system" and here's what it shows:
    Error code 10000050, parameter1 fea3d000, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 a7ba76be, parameter4 00000000.

It seems to me this happens only when my mom's computer is connected in LAN to my pc in order to share the internet connection. does it make sense??

AND, today i had another different (first time this happens) error.
here's the history taken from the event viewer:

    2:17pm
The system detected that network adapter VIA...Ethernet Adapter - Packet Scheduler Miniport was connected to the network, and has initiated normal operation over the network adapter.

    3:06pm
    Microsoft (R) Windows (R) 5.01. 2600 Service Pack 2 Uniprocessor Free.

    3:06pm
The Event log service was started.

    3:06pm
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0x0000805a, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xfe91d2ea). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini022406-01.dmp.

    what's up now? :-(

p.s. sorry for my english but i'm Italian

    Help
    thanks yall!

    Max

Is this a new problem? Were things working OK previously? Any new hardware and or software?

Do both computers crash or only yours? Can you describe in detail the connection between the two computers and then the modem or net?

Also look under your Device Manager: Start/Run/ devmgmt.msc

Check your Network Adapter (click on the +)

    Any yellow "!"

    Any listings under "Other Devices"?

The D1 error is usually drivers: perhaps your network card.

The 050 is usually hardware; memory of some type: RAM; CPU; Graphics.

If you want to trace the dump log:

Go to start | search (type in) .dmp
Note the location of your .dmp files.

    Then:

    1) Download and install the
    Debugging Tools from Microsoft
    2) Download and install this
    debugwiz
    3) Open the Wiz & Browse to, or paste in the path to, your .dmp file.
    4) After the Wiz creates a Text document attach it back to this thread.

    <Is this a new problem?
well yes but we must consider i formatted a couple of weels ago and i connected my mom's computer for the first time in lan at the same time.

    <Were things working OK previously?
Yes but there wasn't any other computer connected to mine via lan

<Any new hardware and or software?
hmm..nope, i don't think so as far as i remember

<Do both computers crash or only yours?
    mine only

<Can you describe in detail the connection between the two computers and then the modem or net?
my computer is connected directly to internet with a usb dsl modem ericsson hm120dp and my mom's pc is connected to my computer with a PCI lan card and a "crossed" lan cable in order to have access to internet (my lan card is motherboard integrated)

<Also look under your Device Manager: Start/Run/ devmgmt.msc
Check your Network Adapter (click on the +)
    Any yellow "!"
Nope, no yellow"!". there are listed:
    -Tin.it ADSL WAN modem HM120dp
-Via Rhine II Fast Ethernet Adapter
    1394 Net Adapter (disabled)

    <Any listings under "Other Devices"?
i don't have any "other devices" showing

<The 050 is usually hardware; memory of some type: RAM; CPU; Graphics.
i ran a RAM test (512MB ddr 400 pc 3200) tool which took about 1 hour or so and it shown everything was ok.
CPU works fine in Sandra (AMD 2800+)
    Graphic card (ATI Radeon 9550)

Can you get the details on this dump:

    The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1

Or just get the data from the Event Viewer.

    What firewall are you running?

The more I look the more I see errors relating to multiple Network Adapters ...

Sorry for being so vague but perhaps the 0x100000d1 details will help. Also if you receive any new errors please post.

Did you set up this connection using the Network Setup Wizard via the Control Panel? You might want to try that. I also see possible issues in file sharing options perhaps.

<Can you get the details on this dump:
    <The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1

    take from the event viewer:

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x100000d1 (0x0000805a, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xfe91d2ea). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini022406-01.dmp.

i tried to debug wizard this dump but it mostly shows thousand of lines like
"Mini Kernel Dump does not contain driver list"

Anyway that D1 prob happened only once and no more.
What seems to cause me serious problems is that 0x00000050 error which i get all the times the LAN is connected.

    <What firewall are you running?
    Kaspersky Anti-Hacker v1.8.180

<Did you set up this connection using the Network Setup Wizard via the Control Panel?
I can't remember how i set that up but if i'm not wrong i think i did use that wizard feat.

<I also see possible issues in file sharing options perhaps.
What do you mean exactly please?

aw, everytime my computer starts i find this error into event viewer which seems not to cause problems anyway:
The Tin.it-Ericsson ADSL Modem HM120dp Loader service failed to start due to the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.
I think it probably tries to load something too soon not finding the system ready..might be?
    The connection works fine.

    thanks again mate

hmmm i was installing DAEMON TOOLS in order to mount a software and the pc crashed during the installation of daemon....
p.s. the lan cable was not connected

    here's the error i got:

    Page fault in nonpaged area

    SCSIPORT.SYS
The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x10000050 (0xf845f000, 0x00000000, 0xf845efff, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini022606-01.dmp.

this time it was not HTTP.SYS but that SCSIPORT.SYS but as you can see, once again, i had a 0x00000050 error code...
here's the debug wizard of this last error i got:
