    Question slipstreamin gone wacko!!

hi everyone, hope someone can lend me a hnd on this, I created a bootable cd for WinXP with SP2 usin slipstreamin. When I tried to do a fresh install with that CD, it went through the procedures starting Caldera... and after a good 30 seconds or so it gave me this on my screen:

    [DR-DOS] A:\>

which is supposed to b my floppy(which in turn turned to B: ) and looked at the directory and found this list of folders:

    Command COM
    DRDOS <DIR>
    OAK <DIR>
    NR <DIR>
    WWBMU EXE
    README TXT
    AUTODOS7 BAT
    DCONFIG SYS

now i dunno where did these come from and how can i boot from tht CD normally as it should happen? am usin nero v6.3.1.18

What slipstreaming program did you use?

Here is a good basic guide:

Did you burn the ISO image (rather than copy files)?

It should open up just like the XP CD if it was slipstreamed successfully.

Are you still able to boot that computer into the old XP? If not you may need to just go with your basic XP CD or try to create another slipstream disk on another computer.

i used nero and yes i burned the iso image onto the CD, and to brief my prb, tht cd i made does nothin other than make me log into my old xp as if nothin happened, it doesnt behave like a good installation cd, so it worries me tht if i ever formatted and wanted to use it.
    wat have i done wrong??

Is your CD drive set in the BIOS to boot prior to the hard drive?

You can also try to open that CD with XP running to see if it gives you the XP option screen.

Otherwise I would try to make a new CD. The nLite program has always worked well for me.
