I'm having a problem with my wireless connection. I currently own a Linksys WRT54G wireless router. I have called Linksys several times and they have not been able to help me fix this problem. The problem is I can get a connection at home and friends homes who have Linksys wireless routers, but I cannot pull up a webpage. I can connect at the university, several local libraries and even the airport, but for some reason I can't get a webpage at home. As I mentioned the status on my tablet pc shows that I have a connection, the strength is excellent, but it doesn't seem to be pushing packets at all or the packets move very, very slowly. I have pinged the system, checked configuration, tried using the "repair" function, etc. and I don't understand why I can connect at any other location's wireless network, but I cannot connet at home or anyone else's Linksys system. At times it will pull up a webpage, but usually this is only after 10, 15, 20 minutes of continually trying to connect. I am now at a complete loss. Any help or suggestions that anyone might have I'd appreciate. Thanks
Do you have an Ethernet port on that router just to test?
Also is Linksys blocked in any way by your firewall?

This probably doesn't apply as you can use other routers but FWIW:This happened on my HP laptop when I tried giving both the wireless and
Ethernet connections of the Laptop the same IP address. If I have one or
the other set to a static IP it exhibits this behavior. Setting both to
dynamic IP allows either to work properly.

I can connect via ethernet port on the router. It's just the wireless that's having problems. I'll try that WinSock Fix and see if that does anything.
The WinSock Fix didn't do anything to help.
The issue appears to be between your tablet and Linksys routers using wireless.
Here are some Linksys links:

http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper
None of that seems to work. The Linksys people aren't much help. They claim it has nothing to do with their product. Thanks for your suggestions. If you have any other ideas, please let me know.
