Hey ive jus brought a second hand hp laptop .. problem is it says i have no audio hardware or there is something wrong with it .. i have no clue how to go about this .. any help please

Did the laptop come with any disks? if so look for "audio driver" "sound driver" or "drivers and utilities" or something similar and install the sound driver.

If not, what is the model?

hi im not great with computers .. its a hp laptop .. it came with APPLICATION AND DRIVER RECOVERY DVD and OPERATING SYSTEM CD service pack 2

try the application and driver recovery DVD when it opens, look for drivers or audio driver etc. and install it..
