I opened My Computer and clicked F: which is my 20gb hd and there is a folder named this:

and files that look like this:

it's actually boxes but when I copied the text of the names it was converted to ??

but it goes all the way to (14) what is this and why is it there?

What is the full path to that folder? e.g. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop\°¿°

it's F:\My Computer and the files and the folders are in there along with Documents and Settings, Program Files, Unzipped, and WINDOWS

what can I use to take pics, to show you I've never seen anything like it and AVG says there's no virus.

I did a system restore I know but those files weren't there any other time I did a system restore.

I googled it and it didn't come up with any results. and the reason AVG says it's not a virus is because it can't open the folder, but I can it looks like this:

I think it has something to do with WMP but I don't want to delete it and mess up my WMP.

It does appear to be a Codec Pak. Have you installed a third party Pak?
