Wow, I think the repair worked it looks like it thanks it was driving me crazy.

I installed XP Codec because I had a file that was MP4 and WMP10 would play it, it would be like it was in slow motion then get fast like it was taking pictures or something, now I can't even play it and WMP10 is doing the same thing it was doing before I know that it has something to do with DirectVobSob codec, because everytime I try to play it it brings it up even after the unistall how do I completely remove all the codecs other than the default?

They should all be listed in Add or Remove Programs:

start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs

they're not there so I installed the K-Lite codec pack I had and it said that two were corrupt one was a divx and one was a directshow so I guess it replaced them because I'm watching the movie now.

I may need more help if it messes up.
