My son was playing a game on line using the keyboard to navigate. Whilst operating the screen turned 45 degrees to the left and will not return. Anyone with any ideas pls.

45 or 90? If 90 you probably have settings to rotate your screen. Open your graphics card program e.g. ATI.

Or go to start > Control Panel > Display > Settings > Advanced

Look for a screen rotation option.
