A problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
BAD_POOL_CALLER
If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears instead, follow these steps:
Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any Windows updates you might need.
If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select Safe Mode.

I've tried going to Safe Mode and it still gives me this. The second error message in the ()s (0xd4f66000) changes when I reboot the computer. Please help. This is a Dell XPS Gen 5, about 3 months old, using Windows XP.

Have you tried the Last Known Good Configuration option from the Safe Mode list?
If this doesn't work you would need to repair XP. The Dell instructions are here. You might want to call Dell first as I am sure you are under warranty and it is difficult to determine what is causing that error without being let into XP.
