Hello all,

im a complete novice when it comes to computers, so any help would be appreciated.

when im on the net and want to enter a chat room it comes up with the following.

"DigiChat requires a Java Compatible web browser to run"

i have used this chat room before and its worked fine, so i presume ive accidentally turnt java off??

anyone know how i can get it back working....

presuming you are using I.E,
Click Tools>Internet options then go to the "security" tab click "custom level" near the bottom, it says "scripting of java aplets" make sure that is set to "Enable"

Also, in the "Advanced" tab under Microsoft VM (about half way down) tick the "Java console enabled (requires restart)" box

also, were you using a different browser to what you normaly use (firefox, mozzilla, netscape, opera, i.e....)
