i recently bought a 40gb external hard drive to use for work etc. the only problem is that i would like to transport important documents and would like a way to protect my harddrive.

im wondering if theres any good software that anyone knows of, that would lock my hard drive or folders within that would work if i went to another computer that didnt have the same software. i dont mind paying around £20 if any has any suggestions?

(p.s. running xp on all pcs)
