E: drive properties shows 0 bytes but the disk is blue? This is normal.

Under Disk Management you have how many drives? Or partitions?

    C? F? G? H? I?

What do you mean by: modem double diskette

You mentioned that you put your CD's here? Does this have anything to do with the modem plugs you just mentioned?

Sorry I am confused about your hardware setup.

What drives do you have inside the computer?

    Any USB drives outside?

    Is your modem USB?

Is your CD drive listed under the Device Manager showing any errors?

Another thing to try regardless of all my questions is under Device Manager right click on your CD drive and choose uninstall then reboot the computer again. This should reset all the drivers.

Drives c d e f g h i- I can burn cds - usb drives not that i know of. Modem must be usb it tells me that. Showing no errors just that it cant find it when i go into the e drive. I did that cd drive and choose uninstall, that didnt work either. Im getting tired. Could we pick this up another time? I will contact you. Your a swell guy for putting up with me.

I am here most every evening (US eastern).

If you want to try this free tool to take screen pics:

    ScreenHunter 4.0 Free

I would love to see pics of your Disk Management as well as Device Manager with the drives expanded.

    Hope I can help!
