What is the Presario # e.g. Presario 2500

If you just place your mouse pointer over the icon on the tray does it say what it is?

Then if you right click on it is there an option to EXIT? Or what options are there?

If this just started to happen a System Restore might be the quickest fix/try.

Are you familiar with System Restore?

The Safely Remove Hardware Icon will appear if you plug in a USB device while the computer is on.

Do you have USB external drives plugged in?

Have you tried these game disks on other computers?

Also check the Device Manager: RT click My Computer then click Manage then Device Manager or go to start/run/ devmgmt.msc for any "!"

Did you look at the Device Manager?

I would suggest rebooting the computer to see if that Hardware icon returns.

Went to device manager. Saw the fghi drives deleted them that didnt work. The icon always comes back. I even unplugged the cables to my comp. That didnt work either. My E drive is telling me that it is full. But I have nothing on them.

Sorry for just questions but it is hard to see from here

Device Manager: Where did you see fghi drives? Listed under what heading?

    You unplugged what cables?

I was assuming that your E: drive was your CD drive: am I wrong?

Where are you getting the info that E: is full?
