Up until today my printer was installed and working fine. Today when I went to print I received a message saying that my printer was not installed and that the spooler service was turned off and asked me to switch the spooler back on on.

Please can anyone confirm what the problem is and how I get the spooler service switched back on to allow my printer to start printing again.

Welcome to D-A-L

Services are listed under Administrative Tools or start/run services.msc

Scroll down to Print Spooler. Right click and choose Properties and set to Automatic.

Reboot and see if things are OK. If not you may need to reinstall the printer software as well.

tried that ......still not working

" error 1075: the dependancy service does nort exist or has been marked for deletion "

any ideas ???????????????????

Do you have an installation disk? I would suggest uninstalling the reinstalling.
