I keep installing dell's lastest graphic card updates but yet it always fails installaion and the next time i sign on the screen will be stuck on 8 bit 640x480. I always system restore to turn this back to normal. but when i used my atempt to install updated drivers it failed and i tried system restore, and guess what? system restore turns into a white screen that will remain blank for hours helppp i dont want 8 bit colors on my computer and in Device manager there is a big ( ! ) on my display driver. I cannot install dell's graphic driver without getting a constant error. Help guys.

did it work OK before you tried the updates?

have you got the original drivers that came with the PC or did it use windows generic drivers?

Yeah it worked Ok. And i used drivers that came with the Pc.

have you tried ..start......settings........Control Panel ....System...Hardware..Device Manager open up Display Adapters (Click on +) .. R Click on Properties and uninstall driver. when windows reboots it should find or ask for the driver
