Have tried all the usual 'folder options' stuff and also dos prompts to view the following:

CD created on win98 (in 2002) with a hidden folder (perhaps passworded - unsure, can't remember)... is there any way to view, copy, extract the folder from it. All other folders & files on the CD i can access, except the hidden one.

I know the folder and images it contains are there, as they can be viewed through a divX DVD player (that doesn't recognise hidden folders), however i cannot display the folder in Windows XP ? its driving me mad!!!

I no longer have access to the old pc with win98.

Thanks, tried both of those suggestions, unfortunately niether worked.

I have remembered (with a little prompting) the folder was hidden with 'Magic Folders' i have even remembered the original password. According to thier info, if burning a hidden folder to a cd it should be viewable in other PC's, obviously this is not the case.

I downloaded the XP version of this program but it will not allow you to unlock a hidden folder on a cd, i also tried to copy the folders & contents onto my PC but this again would not show the file, although i'm not certain if copying it would have copied the entire disc or just the files it could see.

Any more suggestions perhaps something else that will enable you to see hidden folders, hidden with 'magic folders'
