got my new motherboard a gigabyte something or other, all is fine with it, until i log in, it restarts i still need to install all the drivers again for the motherboard but it wont let me because it restarts before it restarts it displays sometinhg but i never have enough time to see it and then POOF restarted again, very confuzzled? so need help any one?!

i think it has somethin to do with a system process that starts, after that it goes dead?, possibly the driver for the graphics card? because not using that graphics card at the moment?

You login to what? XP? You need to load the Mobo drivers and reinstall XP first.

The motherboard drivers should be on a bootable CD.

You will also need to do at least a Repair Install of XP which is also a bootable CD.

There should not be anything at this point to login to.

Or am I mis-understanding the question
