I'm not sure but if this has anything to do with my problem, but here it is:

I was changing stuff in VC and when I play it I found that it is best to change my settings to whatever vc runs at which at this time is 800x600 and so I did that, and I tried to alt tab out of VC but it was sluggish, so I messed up a car file in VC and it crashed the game couldn't CTRL ALT DEL out at all tried to CTRL ALT DEL and then hit G DEL then enter to close VC didn't work. so I had to restart when I restarted and the computer loaded I hit CTRL ALT DEL now my taskman shows up but no file, edit, shut down, it's just the processes nothing else no other options, what happened and how can I fix it?


any help would be appreciated thanks.

SYMPTOMS
The menu bar and tabs may not be visible in Task Manager.
CAUSE
This behavior may occur if Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode. If you double-click the empty space in the border around the tabs, Task Manager switches to this mode.
RESOLUTION
To switch Task Manager to its typical display mode, double-click the top border of the window.

When Task Manager is running in Tiny Footprint mode, you can resize the window.
