My PC keeps crashing, I get the BSOD for about half a second but can't see what it actually says. The problem can happen at any time, I have not been able to relate it to any applications.

When I check the event viewer >System the following message appears

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x1000008e (0xc0000005, 0xf3289810, 0xf6613b8c, 0x00000000). A dump was saved in: C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini012206-08.dmp.

Whenever it crashes the message is always the same in the event viewer. Can anyone help??

Many thanks for the reply. I tried the MIcrosoft website but when I followed the steps to identify the errior message it could not idetify it??

Recently I had extra RAM fitted to my pC, could this be causing the problem?

Yes, before then I have never had this problem.
