I have just changed my isp from wanado to bt broadband, since the switch I can no longer login to my hotmail account. I can log on ok from another pc just not mine, just keeps saying this page cannot be displayed. I am using win xp. I would be most grateful for any help any one can give me.

brain_damage, no I tried it with my firewall turned off still the same, thanks anyway matey

no i am using the panda firewall only...i can go onto any web site ok including the hotmail login page but as soon as i put my email and password in it just says page cannot be displayed. I have also tired using several other (know to be working on other pc's) login's but just get the same. If I try to use my email and put the wrong password in, it says straight away username or password incorrect.

Spud it was actually what you had suggested in the first place, my firewall. It had worked ok when I was on wanado but for some reason it was stopping it when i switched to bt broadband, as soon as i disabled it it let me back on my hotmail.thanks for all your help mate. I will definately use this site from now on.
