well i stop installing my graphics card just to be afichient and save time so i started installing my sound card (eveytime i have trouble getting it running) but anyway i put the graphics card softwear back in and it didnt give me any trouble when i was installing it. the only thing is ive started it up a few time and it gives me this message that says power isnt connected to your card or something like that so i open the case and just kinda push the power to the graphices card in a little and it starts up fine. whats with that?

Maybe just a touchy power connection

You probably have the manual. I found this page online:

Obviously I don't know what options you are having trouble with.

You appear to be doing quite well on your own tho

    Glad to help.

Good stuff to learn. No shortage of building and repairing computers out there if you're into it.

I learned (still learning) from asking questions online.

yea i have definatly learned alot going through this like before this all start (almost a year ago) i had no clue what BIOS was if someone asked me to which a HDD or something like that i wouldnt know where to begin and now i know alot about my computer, just the other week i fixed my dads computer he was stumped and was ready to send it into dell but i ended up fixing it after both my older brothers took a shot at it

i mean even though this was a totally bad thing that i really didnt need to go through its tought me soooo much about computers but yea i would definatly want to get into some type of computer work when im older

Here is a good overall guide to PC's:

    The PC Guide

Your experience was the same way I learned. Taking apart my first computer and researching on-line.

I'm sure I came here to D-A-L asking a question but I forget what

Let us know how you get on and ask more questions. You are also in a position to start answering others
