    computer stuck

    My computer is getting stuck all over the place "end program now" window every five minutes this is what I have for a computer:
    Gateway Intel(R)
    PentiumR 4CPU 2.40GHz
    256 GB RAM
    windows xp pro
    version 2002
    service pack 2

    Can someone help me check what's wrong?

    There was nothing to post from my antivirus program scan

    I have done everything that it was posted but I can't run highjackthis (unzipping problem)
    how to download and unzip?

    click on the Hijackthis. save to disc..unzip it and run the programme

    My computer still freezing "end program now" window. Can someone help me with this highjackthis log (above).

    Root, I have deleted your post as I presume it to be misplaced sarcasm that wasn't helping the thread.

    Jbolarinho, your system spec is fine for running basic applications under Windows XP. Furthermore, I've had a glance over your HiJackThis log and don't see any obvious problems in it. Does the problem start to happen after a certain amount of time or after running a particular application? Could you confirm that you have various applications that are freezing / crashing in the same way or is it just one program? Are there any other error messages?

    Thank you. My computer problems starts freezing right when I put my computer on, it takes for ever to load, then various programs freezes, web pages and applications. I do get an error message from limewire but I'm not sure what it says since it hasn't happen today. Must of the time when computer freezes I get the END PROGRAM NOW window, and that something takes forever to work.

    Problem solved, uninstalled antivirus software and reinstalled it. Read it somewhere and it worked.
