Hi: I'm a newcomer and hope you can help. I installed windows xp on my sons old lap top and now cannot remove windows professional. I'm running low on disk space. can you tell me how to remove windows professional. thank you in advance

did you install xp over top of the old operating system or as well as?

I beleive it is in addition to. When I turn on the lap top it ask me to highlight which system to use. Thank you for any help you can give.

it looks like your dual booting..........is there any data you want on the PC?

do you just want XP on the machine?

have you got all drivers for the laptop?

you could format the drive and alter the Master Boot Record (if thats the case I'll post instuction later) so it only boots into the O/S you want to use
