    Disk problems with System Restore

    Ok here's my story:

I recently did a fresh install of XP on my system. I have 2 hard drives a 120 GB and an 80 GB. The 120 is partitioned into two pieces, 10 GB for XP and the rest for other stuff. The 80 GB is not partitioned. I only formatted the 10 GB partition cause the rest was used up for games, music and others. Anyways after installing XP, I've used it for a few days and then I said ok let's make it look and feel like it did before. So I did. I also wanted to turn off System Restore on all partitions beside the XP one. I did sucessfully for D: which is 100 GB and when I tried for E: which is the 80 GB, it said there was a problem and I had to restart the pc and try again. I said ok I'll do it. After I restarted I go to Properties of My Computer to disable System Restore on E:, what I notice is that beside E: under status it says Offline and the Settings button is greyed out. Now when I go to Windows Explorer and try to open E: it takes a while and then it says that it's not formatted and if I would like to do that now. What happend to it is my question ?

BTW I also went to the Manage thing when you right click on My Computer and under Disk Management, for drive E: under File System, it doesn't say NTFS which it was.

Obviously something happend to the partition table, but I need a fix for this.

    Thanks in advance.

So the problem in the short way is:
    - You tried to turn the System Restore off on one disk
    - Windows said that you need to restart the system before you do that
    - After restart the disk became unaccesible
