    HDD cycles every few seconds

Good day all, and thnks in advance.

My HDD will cycle every few seconds and this causes the computer to pause momentarily. I have looked at all the setting in the "power managment" area and all seemsd to be fine. I clean my comp with ad aware and registry mechanic daily or bi-daily.
    Any tips?

Is the indexing enabled? It would be a good idea to run the diagnostic tools on the HD to see if theres any impending danger. Also have you defragmented? Its possible that the paging file is being accessed a lot. It wud be gud to back up in case of doubt.
