Hi, I am looking at upgrading the motherboard, processor and hard disc on my computer which is approx 4 years old. My question is: What difficulty will I experience when I come to reload XP Home on the upgraded system in view of Microsoft's registration system and how do I handle it.

what version of XP have you got?

you may be able to reload XP and phone M$ when you get to register it and if you explain what you've done they may give you a number to activate it

just reload XP onto the new PC enter the 25 digit key and when you come to activate you'll be given a phone number, just explain what you've done and you should be able to activate it
