could any body please help me with a problem with windows xp pro, not a major problem only when i try to run windows own defrag program i click on analyse or defrag and nothing happens could anybody please throw some light on this, any ideas really appriecated

does the PC need defraging? have you tried in safe mode?

wont defrag even in safe mode last time i defraged the disc was approx 6 months ago
